4x3 maintains the website for the University of Pennsylvania Facilities & Real Estate Services (FRES). The site features a custom content management system integrated into the Google Map API interface.
4x3 works directly with FRES to make updates to the database, the map and search engine optimization elements of the site. We're currently working on a list of improvements including a Twitter Feed to display the Wet Bulb temperature, calculated every hour on campus.
The Google Map API was customized and integrated with 4x3's custom content management system which includes all Penn buildings, parking, public art and even bicycle racks. Google recently mapped the whole campus including walking paths for Street View. The Street View upgrades are available at maps.google.com as well as on the custom created FRES campus map interface. The site also features a CMS driven contact database, dynamic announcements and construction updates section.
