For those in the know, the staff at 4x3 is near and dear to my heart. So a testimonial quote is like an off speed pitch that didn't break to a hitter on a streak. The guys at 4x3 are simply awesome. Fun to work with, professional and damn talented. Their work is impeccable.

These days, a good smartphone can last for a couple years — or until the battery life starts to die — and each software update can often bring you more problems than fixes. It's around this time when you start shopping around for a new phone, often the same brand, just a new model.

As president of the Iona College Rugby Football Club, it is my responsibility to oversee all game production. After my short-lived rugby career ended due to shoulder injuries and I still wanted to contribute to the team.
This weeked, many of us in the 4x3 family are down in Charlotte, NC for a big event! The ACRC Bowl Series, a production of our sister company URugby, is bringing 18 top college rugby teams to the Rugby Athletic Center in Charlotte for high-level competition.

The hashtag — what we used to call a pound sign — is the trickster of the social media world. So! Part two (Here's part one if you haven't read it yet)!
My internship started a week after school ended and I planned to stay until the week before school started. Four days a week, from 9 to 4. I didn't have any super big plans for summer so my goal was to focus on my personal creative work and learning as much as I can in the "real" design field. The night before my internship I was really excited. It was like the feeling you get before the first day of school...but it wasn't school.

I try not to be a pressure salesman, but it may be time to re-evaluate what our website is doing for us. Not just you our clients but 4x3 - our site - our focus - the future of our industry. In the past we have been offering mobile sites and responsive design as an option. And maybe we're just not selling the options hard enough. Maybe we're just not doing our job to make you understand what's happening and how very important is to keep up.
When building a new website, it's not uncommon for something (sometimes everything) to go wrong along the way. And once you've solved the same problem a couple times, solving it every time after that is like working through a flow chart.
As the extent of the devastation unfolds after Superstorm Sandy hit our Atlantic coast shores, I'm reminded of lessons learned after Katrina hit New Orleans. There's already news and finger pointing about what should have been done and who should have done what.
I'm not an economic guru and I do not have a crystal ball, but my 'spider senses are tingling' these days. Life, as we all figure out when we get a little older, is fleeting. The economy - people make the phrase out to be a six-headed monster - will rise and fall over time. Or at least it has in my time.
