Ansell challenged 4x3 with creating an exhibit that prioritized engagement with SEMA Trade Show attendees as it boosted brand presence to reflect the company's growth in automotive aftermarket protection products.

As one of THE aftermarket industry’s annual trade show in Las Vegas with 2,400 exhibitors and over 1,500 cars displayed, the SEMA Trade Show presents a challenging exhibitor environment. To make Ansell stand out on the trade show floor we created a space that demanded attention and could properly showcase Ansell's products and services, while maintaining an open floor plan.

Trade Show Design Challenge

Ansell, a leading provider of hand and arm protection and clothing, had two main goals for their new custom exhibit. The first was to create a trade show space that would stand out and draw attention to their booth. The second was to properly showcase and display their automotive specialty protective gloves.

Trade Show Design Solution

We incorporated an "everyday superhero" theme with bold branding, striking colors and fire and lightening graphics that could not be overlooked by attendees.

Inspired by Ansell’s product line, and the resurgence of superhero media in the past few years, we designed and created imagery that wrapped around the structure and became the main focal point of the display. We used bold colors and oversized images of car mechanics as everyday superheros to compliment the branded archway sign of the trade show booth.

The addition of branded stands added platforms for a wide array of Ansell's auto aftermarket products to be easily displayed to attendees. The stands were strategically placed to create an open floor plan that was inviting and created internal flow to draw attention to the center of the space, where Ansell's capabilities were showcased for visitors.

Branding and messaging were strong and consistent throughout the space. Several large monitors were placed throughout the exhibit providing education and engagement in all areas. A monitor facing the main aisle displayed an interactive game and information about the POWERED TO PROTECT show display.

With 162,000 attendees at 2019 SEMA Trade Show, this creative and smartly-designed exhibit helped Ansell achieve its goals, while making a statement on the trade show floor.
