We also integrated custom Drupal modules and and intelligent navigation tools to ease the burden of updates for this content-rich website and enhance the functionality of the site. The site can now be managed without any high-level programming expertise while remaining while fully incorporating responsive web design.

Due to the heavily content oriented aspect of the website, a high level or organization needed to be applied during the development process. We worked closely with Arizona Opera to create a detailed site map to guarantee a simple layout and easily navigated internal pages. This level organization was implemented in every step of development.

Since its inaugural year, Arizona Opera has produced over 170 fully-staged operas and concerts. Arizona Opera preforms complete seasons in both Tucson and Phoenix.

AGA Developers: Branding Case Study

Beyond just a memorable logo, 4x3 has worked with AGA Developers to create a recognizable brand. By analyzing several aspects of AGA's brand we were able to create a case study highlighting the features of the company which fulfilled the 5 necessary components of a brand.

1. Improves Recognition

The recognizable logo and style allows AGA Developers to create a powerful reputation by associating their hard work and popular projects with their brand. This is why each of their sub-brands (South Square, Frankford Square and Trenton Stables) have gained recognition through the connection to their well-developed and professional parent brand.

2. Creates Trust

The AGA brands allows you to transfer the same feeling of loyalty and trust that the other sub-brands command. When customers see a new development with AGA's parent brand on the side they know they will have the same old-fashioned craftsmanship and contemporary designs associated with all the successful projects they have completed in the past.

3. Supports Advertising

Through traditional media and social media, AGA publicizes properties and developments that they are building or selling, respectively. Each sub-brand – South SquareFrankford Square and Trenton Stables – is marketed directly through the parent brand's social media.

4. Builds Financial Value

A strong brand usually guarantees future business. As AGA grows and develops more properties its brand continues to gain better the financial return from its efforts.

5. Generates New Customers

AGA has built up a powerful reputation for building contemporary townhouses throughout Philadelphia's neighborhoods and satisfied home-buyers are one of today's the most profitable advertising source.

CREATING A BRAND WITH 4X3

At 4x3, we believe that your brand is the essence of your business. We work directly with our clients to create a brand that states who you are, where you are headed and the perception of who your clients and potential clients believe you to be.

And just like our client, AGA Developers, we have what it takes to get your brand on track.

4x3 Ideas

May 22, 2017

Beyond just a memorable logo, 4x3 has worked with AGA Developers to create a recognizable brand to increase the value of the company and make acquiring new customers easier.

4x3 has created a branding identity for AGA and the subsequent sub-brands of their three properties: South SquareFrankford Square and Trenton Stables.

By analysis several aspects of AGA's brand we were able to create a case study highlighting the features of the company which fulfilled the 5 necessary components of a brand.

1. Improves Recognition

A brand represents the sum of people’s perception of a company’s customer service, reputation, advertising, and logo. For example, when you think of Starbucks you consider more than just their famous mermaid logo. You also think about their holiday cups and advertising, fun promotional drinks like the Unicorn Frappe, and the smiling baristas that greet you at the counter. THIS is Starbucks' brand.

A professional appearance builds credibility and trust. Potential customers are more likely to purchase from a company that appears polished and legitimate. You are more likely to buy a new Apple product than a no-name, off-brand knock-off that hits the market on the same week.

AGA Developers has a simple, yet powerful brand. The AGA brands allows you to transfer the same feeling of loyalty and trust that the other sub-brands command. When customers see a new development with AGA's parent brand on the side they know they will have the same old-fashioned craftsmanship and contemporary designs associated with all their other successful projects they have completed in the past.

3. Supports Advertising

When all of the parts of the business are working well, the overall brand tends to be healthy. On the flip side, we all probably know a company that offers excellent products or services, but has a tarnished brand due to advertising (think Pepsi's most recent campaign). This is why a brand must always be considered when creating an advertisement.

Advertising is an important component of AGA Developers' brand. Through traditional media and social media, AGA publicizes properties and developments that they are building on or selling, respectively. Each sub-brand – South SquareFrankford Square and Trenton Stables, is marketed directly through the parent brand's social media. They fall under the umbrella brand of AGA and as such, advertising for each development  is directly associated with the parent brand.

4. Builds Financial Value

A strong brand usually guarantees future business. As AGA grows and develops more properties its brand continues to gain better the financial return from its efforts.

5. Generates New Customers

Customer loyalty is important! And in the age of the internet and social media, word of mouth is essential for any business referrals.

As discussed, AGA has built up a powerful reputation for building contemporary townhouses throughout Philadelphia's neighborhoods and satisfied home-buyers are one of today's the most profitable advertising source.

Creating a Brand with 4x3

At 4x3, we believe that your brand is the essence of your business. We work directly with our clients to create a brand that states who you are, where you are headed and the perception of who your clients and potential clients believe you to be.

4x3 has partnered with SwivelStudios on many web design projects and proposals. The professional relationship between the two studios has allowed for us to create several beautiful and functional sites.

As the technology partner, 4x3 works directly with Swivel from the beginning of each project, to determine the scope, define the site architecture, and consult on functionality. Swivel always delivers creative solutions, and 4x3 takes the lead on the programming and development. Specializing in dynamic, content-rich websites, 4x3 and Swivel partnered to create sites for Clear Sound Inc., the Institute for Research and Reform in Education (IRRE), and Penn’s Center for Neuroengineering & Therapeutics.

"When seeking quality tech/design/development partner, you take a risk when seeking the right fit for the scope of work at hand.  We hit a home run every time SwivelStudios partners with 4x3. Their team possess just the right mix of design savvy and current tech trend development skills." - Heide Fraley, Creative Director, Swivel Studios

Clear Sound Inc.

Clear Sound Inc. is Philadelphia's premier video, audio and lighting firm. Since 1976, Philadelphia-area institutions, event planners and houses of worship have turned to Clear Sound for all sound and event production needs; including venues like the Upper Darby Performing Arts Center and UPenn's Franklin Field.

4x3 worked closely with SwivelStudios to create a completely custom Drupal CMS website for Clear Sound. The CMS is extremely user-friendly and completely responsive in design, assuring the site looks equally great on all screen sizes and devices.

Institute for Research and Reform in Education

The IRRE was founded in 1989 with a mission to improve the lives of young people in diverse communities by transforming their educational experience.

4x3 and SwivelStudios teamed up to create IRRE's custom website back in 2010. The site featured a simple, yet functional design that highlighted IRRE's mission and work. Then, in 2015, the IRRE reached out to 4x3 for a site refresh to handle all the content published on the website. 4x3 developed a sleek new site incorporating the best features of the Drupal 7 platform including responsive design and search optimization. The design makes the large amount of content featured on the site easier to navigate.

Center for Neuroengineering and Therapeutics

Penn’s Center for Neuroengineering and Therapeutics researchers focus on engineering devices to help scientists and doctors better understand what happens within the brain’s communication networks. They use this knowledge to help improve medical management and to develop brain-computer interfaces that can restore neural networks and improve function.

To better communicate their important research, CNT looked to 4x3 and Swivel Studios to create a responsive, user-friendly, easy-to-update website on a Drupal platform. 4x3’s programming brought the responsive design concepts to life.

4x3 News

4x3 has been a long time partner with the Historic Odessa Foundation. So when we were approached in 2014 with the chance to market their newest fundraising event - the Odessa Brewfest - we jumped at the chance.

The 1st Annual Odessa Brewfest was a huge success. The festival fulfilled its promise for great beer, food and music in a beautiful outdoor setting. It was a truly unique event and a great fundraiser for the Historic Odessa Foundation.

Due to the festivals's success, 4x3 was invited back to manage all the event promotion and social media marketing for the next year's Brewfest. And now, four years later, 4x3 once again returns to Odessa, Delaware for market for the event.

The 4th Annual Odessa Brewfest

The annual Odessa Brewfest comes to Delaware on September 9th, 2017. Tickets go on sale on June 1st with special early bird-specials for HOF members.

4x3 will handle all event promotion for the Odessa Brewfest. To raise awareness of the festival locally and regionally, we provide:

  • Brand awareness (messaging and overall brand identity online and in print)
  • Research (intelligence on beer festivals and other comparable events)
  • Content (news, press releases and e-newsletters)
  • Promotion (our much-heralded brewbracket contest; social media management; brewer partnerships)

The Historic Odessa Foundation’s mix of online, print and radio marketing generates buzz about the festival and lots of positive local media coverage. Odessa’s status as a treasured Delaware historic site is a unique highlight for the festival, as was the presence of local breweries, wineries, distillers and other vendors with deep roots in the state.

Event Marketing

Event marketing strategies leave a lasting, brand-focused impression of fun by grabbing the attention of a group of people who are gathered together and enhancing a visitor's overall experience.

At 4x3, we can help expand your brand past digital marketing. Our in-house experience allows us to plan and market events, both big and small. Our event marketing efforts can include printed brochures, signage at the event, social media blasts, printed mailers, event apparel and much more.

Our event marketing expertise and solid experience help our clients to provide strategic promotional campaigns that boost attendance and ensure event success.
